  • Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date from Cambodia.
  • Ensure your passport has at least one blank page for entry stamps upon arrival.
  • Upon arrival in Cambodia, ensure your passport is stamped with an entry stamp. This stamp indicates the date of your entry and the duration of your permitted stay.
  • However, travelers with a passport from Afghanistan, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, and Nigeria are not allowed to apply for a visa on arrival. Therefore, holders of these passports must apply for a Cambodian visa before arriving in the country.
  • Before leaving Cambodia, ensure your passport is stamped with an exit stamp. Failure to obtain an exit stamp may result in fines or difficulties when leaving the country.
  • Some tourists, depending on their nationality or purpose of visit, may require special endorsements on their passports. Check with the Cambodian embassy or consulate in your country to determine if any additional documents are needed.
  • Keep your passport secure at all times during your stay in Cambodia. Consider making copies of your passport’s identification page and storing them separately from your passport.
  • In the event of a lost or stolen passport, contact your country’s embassy or consulate in Cambodia immediately for assistance.
  • If you hold dual nationality, ensure you enter and exit Cambodia using the same passport to avoid complications.
  • If you’re traveling with children, ensure they have their own passports and meet the necessary entry requirements.
  • Before traveling, it’s advisable to check for any updates or changes to passport and visa requirements for Cambodia. Official government websites and embassy/consulate offices can provide the most up-to-date information.

By adhering to these passport requirements and guidelines, tourists can ensure a smooth entry and enjoyable stay in Cambodia.
